PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Two Pittsburgh area school districts are revising plans due to Covid-19.
Moss Side Middle School has now joined Gateway High School in being closed for five days due to a second case of Covid-19 over 14 days.
The district sent notice to parents Sunday that a second faculty member had tested positive.
At the high school it was a second student who tested positive Friday. Both buildings will be deep cleaned and contact tracing conducted.
Meanwhile the North Allegheny school board will vote Tuesday night on returning elementary students to the classroom full time October 19. A number of parents spoke out at last week's board meeting.
North Allegheny students are on a hybrid plan.
