Carnegie Museums go digital with online store

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - You can now shop for your favorite Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh items online.

The museums have launched an online store that features products from the stores of its four museums.

Among their offerings, the store will feature items from local artists and makers as well as some of Pittsburgh's small businesses.

“We’re thrilled to be giving the public online access to the unique offerings of our museum stores—including apparel, jewelry, custom art reproductions, household goods, games, and puzzles,” said Lori Braszo, general manager of retail operations.

A spokesperson for the museums told KDKA Radio that the online store is something that the museum has explored doing for a long time.

All of the products featured in the online store are also available in their retail locations. The retail stores are not going away.

There are four Carnegie Museums in Pittsburgh - the Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural history, the Carnegie Science Center and the Andy Warhol Museum.

This is the first online store for the museums.
