Crack'd Egg in Brentwood closing instead of making COVID mitigation changes

PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) — A local restaurant ordered by a judge to follow COVID-19 restrictions has temporarily closed rather than comply with the mitigation efforts.

Allegheny County Common Pleas Judge John McVay Jr. had ordered the Crack'd Egg in Brentwood to either follow COVID-19 rules or close.

The restaurant — known for openly flouting mask-wearing and occupancy rules — says it will appeal the case.
