There will be a new parking garage built between Heinz Field and PNC Park.

The Post-Gazette reports that Continental Real Estate Companies is expected to pay Alcoa $1.2 million to buy 134 parking spaces, on which they plan to build a garage that will house almost 450 new spaces next to PNC Park on West General Robinson Street.

In addition to the new parking garage, Continental will also build an entertainment plaza and a combination office and residential building. The two facilities will be built on additional parking spaces to be purchased by the company.

Construction is expected to be completed by fall of 2021.
