November assault victim dies, Pittsburgh Police now investigate case as homicide


A Pittsburgh Police investigation into an assault has now turned into a homicide investigation.

Police say 60-year-old Gregory Hill was found by first responders in in a home on Webster Avenue in the Upper Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh back on November 12 shortly before 2:30am.

Hill was unconscious at the time and was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

Police arrested and charged 26-year-old Raymone Curry with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault and Terroristic Threats.

Hill was taken off of life support and was pronounced dead on January 17, changing the investigation to one of a homicide.
