Third gun in four days caught at Pittsburgh International Airport


The Transportation Security Administration caught another handgun during a security check at Pittsburgh International Airport on Saturday.

This is the third gun caught by officers in four days.

A Texas man was found with a .45 calibur loaded handgun. Allegheny County police confiscated the weapon. The man is facing federal penalties.

On Tuesday, October 6, two passengers were both caught with guns in separate incidents at the airport.

So far this year, 17 firearms have been caught at Pittsburgh International.
