Steelers guard David DeCastro returned to practice on Wednesday as expected after coach Mike Tomlin said he expected him back during his weekly news conference on Tuesday.
A previous injury report claimed DeCastro did not practice on Wednesday, but the team quickly updated the report to show DeCastro actually did participate in full.
Not everyone participated in practice though.
Wide receivers JuJu Smith-Shuster and Diontae Johnson, with a knee and toe injury respectively were out.
Defensive end Tyson Alualu was also out of practice with a knee injury.
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, center Maurkice Pouncey, defensive end Stephon Tuitt and defensive tackle Cam Heyward all got veteran days off.
Tomlin said during his weekly news conference that some of the veteran players may get some time off and that players like Alualu may be limited during the week.
