Kansas State's all-time leading rusher, and a former K-State assistant coach, have both been chosen to the Class of 2021 for the College Football Hall of Fame.

Kansas-native Darren Sproles, a First-Team All-American at Kansas State, will be inducted. When Sproles exited the K-State football program, he held 28 school records; 17 years later, 21 of those records are still intact.

Also to be inducted, former Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops. Before winning a national championship during a long tenure with OU, Stoops spent seven seasons as a defensive assistant coach on Bill Snyder's staff at Kansas State.

The induction ceremony is scheduled for later this year.
