Hey! I’m Devon. I’m in my 20’s. You know, a “Millennial”. Just less whiny (sometimes). I’ve been around radio all my life and I can’t think of a better, more fun job to have. My family and I moved to Chattanooga when I was a Junior in high school, but I consider Chattanooga to be my “Home”. I came from a small town in middle TN where I was very active in the drumline of my high school marching band. I have an older brother named Codi who toughened me up just right while we were growing up. We were the type of brothers that would complain because “he’s looking out my window!” while riding in the car with mom and dad. Being a young adult, I’ve picked up on the fact that I probably should have taken home economics class in high school (lol). I enjoy everything from crowded music festivals and peaceful biking or kayaking trips and even kicking butt playing online video games. My truck was my first “big boy purchase” as I call it and it is my pride and joy. Family and friends are the most important people in my life so starting my own family is probably the most important goal in my life as of now. I’m a “no regrets” kind of momma’s boy. And “The Office” is the best TV show PERIOD. Nice to meet you!

What 2 individuals, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with?

Joe Rogan and George Carlin! Now only would it be a hilarious dinner but the stories would be GREAT too!

What was the first huge music hit that you remember?

As embarrassing as it is, probably Taylor Swift “Our Love song”

What was the best concert you ever attended?

Any concert with Randy Houser is bound to send chills down your spine BUT I have wanted to see Adelle live for SO LONG.

What are you passionate about?

I have loved playing video games since I was a kid. Aside from that, I LOVE hiking, kayaking, and building woodworking projects.

What’s your favorite movie?

My NEW favorite movie is Onward but a few honorable mentions are Chappie, and The Never Ending Story.

Describe your craziest “how did I get here?” moment.

I was ankle deep on a small beach in the British Virgin Islands and it just sank in like, “WOW! I’m so blessed to be here witnessing such a beautiful sight.” I felt SO grateful for the things that allowed me to vacation there. And I also felt VERY sunburnt after I left. Worst sunburn of my life FOR SURE!

Who is your most & least favorite superhero and why?

Most favorite is Green Lantern because he’s a bit of an underdog and I don’t think people give his power enough credit. Least favorite has to be Batman. CONGRATS Batman you are rich and build cool gadgets. There’s nothing super about that! BLEH! haha

What’s the biggest misconception people have about your job?

They think I just talk on the radio and go home. No. no. no. There’s a lot of manual labor setting up for and working events, there’ s a lot of research, a lot of contacting people, a lot of creative processes going at once. It’s always a new task every day. I LOVE IT!

What’s your most dreaded household chore? And why?

DUSTING! Like, hold on for a second… You’re telling me that, the area over there on the shelf behind my diploma, that I HAVE NOT TOUCHED in SEVERAL MONTHS is DIRTY?!?!?!?! HOWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Rage) haha
