In a recent interview with Men’s Health, Lenny Kravitz, talked about a variety of things, two of which include how dope his daughter is, and that some think that he and Jason Momoa, his ex-wife Lisa Bonet’s husband, have an unconventional friendship.
But before we get into all of that, can we have a moment of silence for the magazine cover… and let us say, Amen.
Back to our regularly scheduled programing, during the sit down via zoom Lenny expressed, “people can't believe how tight Jason and I are, or how tight I still am with Zoë's mom, how we all relate. We just do it because that's what you do. You let love rule, right?”
Gotta love a modern family man who isn’t afraid of a shameless plug, refer to Lenny’s 1989 debut album, track number two and you’ll see. Oh fine, we'll make it easy, see below.
Kravitz did admit, “I mean, obviously, after a breakup, it’s work, it takes some work and time, healing and reflection, et cetera. But as far as Jason and I? Literally the moment we met, we were like, ‘Oh, yeah. I love this dude.’"
According to Kravitz, love might be able to transcend "all space and time," and also “can make a little child smile,” but using your own lyrics to make a point about a bromance is what makes us smile.
After being together since 2005, Bonet married the Aquaman star in 2017 and have two children together, daughter Lola, 12, and son Nakoa-Wolf, 10. As for Kravitz and Bonet, they were married from 1987 to 1993 and together had a daughter, Zoë Kravitz.
Lenny describes Zoë as “the most real person I know.” Uh, we don’t even know her, and we’d have to agree. Further expanding, he said ”It wasn't easy, I'm sure, but she's just forged her way with elegance, you know? Just having two parents who were known in the world. The comparisons. She didn't let any of that hinder her in any way.” Once again, agreed - (side bar, check out High Fidelity on Hulu, you’re welcome).
Just in case you haven’t had your full fix of Kravitz, you’ll soon be able to find out more about the first 25 years of his life and how he’s let love steer the way in his memoir titled, wait for it… “Let Love Rule” available October 6.
