I get the hiccups from time to time and few things suck more than getting them during the show. Sure, everyone gets hiccups and there is no shortage of 'cures' (and I have heard them ALL) but understand that mine get 'medical'. Both myself and my father deal with this sh*t and we when we get them they can last for days. It's unbelievably frustrating but it's a fact of life. Trust me, my father and I both have consulted doctors and all the rest trying to.
Anyway, the idea of being on a talk show coupled with severe hiccups is, well, it's just stupid.
Stupid or not, I got the hiccups during the show and did my best to work around them but I'm not fooling anyone...at least, not based on the flurry of comments that came my way concerned that I may have been having a stroke. Just hiccups.
That said, I have had a stroke once. It was not a fun experience...and f**k Iceland! You'll just have to trust that that statement makes sense. Another story for another day.
Ah, so to get rid of the hiccups (so I could enjoy the rest of the show) I ran to the bathroom and made myself puke. Sadly, it works like a charm.
OK the. I'm outta here.
Until tomorrow, do what you do best and STAY BEAUTIFUL!
