My mom is my hero. She's also an MS warrior, and she's been living with Multiple Sclerosis for 10 years.
For half a decade, every spring I've captained the KISW Team for Walk MS in Snohomish County. When we learned the event would be canceled for 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions, I was devastated. This walk has become a HUGE part of my life. The people I have met through Walk MS have become like family, and although I can't see any of those amazing faces in person this year, we still have ways to connect and make a difference.
I am going to walk a 5k remotely this Saturday morning, and I hope you will do the same!! And I am STILL raising funds to fight back against MS, and I hope you will donate! I know that times are tough, and money is tight for so many of us, but people like my mom who live with Multiple Sclerosis are counting on us to bring researchers closer to a cure.
Thank you so much for continuing to support the KISW Walk MS Team, whether we're physically having the event or not! It is so deeply appreciated!
Happy Adventuring (from a safe social distance),
