Ski and snowboard season is going to look a little different in 2020-2021 (shocker!), and there's a chance that the plans being made could change throughout the season.
The Seattle Times wrote an article about the outlook of the 2020-21 ski season and the precautions our favorite mountains are taking. Adding another great outdoor activity to the list will be certainly nice this year, but restrictions will be a significant part of all plans and like everything else these days, subject to change.
Crystal MountainOpens: Nov 20thInfo: Limited capacity and no walk-up tickets. You must pre-purchase tickets or have a season pass.
Stevens PassOpens: Dec 4thInfo: Limited capacity prioritizing season ticket holders. Single day tickets will be pre-purchase only.
The Summit at SnoqualmieOpens: TBAInfo: No restrictions currently planned other than govenment mandated occupancy.
Mount BakerOpens: Nov 26 (snow permitting)Info: Working on restriction policies, reservations for busiest days, and limited capacity are all likely.
Since I missed the last TWO seasons due to 1. being pregnant and 2. having a small baby at home, I am really looking forward to strapping on my skis in ANY capacity this year! Hope to see y'all on the hill!
Happy Adventuring (from a safe social distance),
