Starbucks releases color-changing cups for Valentine’s Day

Love is in the air at Starbucks.

Social media users have reported that they have seen new Valentine’s Day merchandise in several Starbucks’ stores across the nation, Good Housekeeping reported.

When you head to your local Starbucks, the collection you'll see features new color-changing cups, mugs, water bottles, and several matte and glitter cold-brew cups.

Users say items are officially available at Target, but a coffee chain representative reported that the items might arrive in stores closer to Valentine’s Day.

One user posted the official cups and captioned the post, “Happy @starbucks release day! So many fun designs to choose from, including the $3 color changing valentine 💋.”

This isn't the first time the coffee giant has unveiled color-changing cups.

After unveiling its new holiday cups in November, Starbucks rolled out more coveted seasonal items, including a reusable color-changing cup. The cups were shared in a release on the Starbucks website, along with other new holiday items.

Starbucks new Holiday Color Changing Cup offers a festive twist to the fan-favorite drinkware, transforming from green to red when the cup contains hot liquid,” read the description for the cups, which are going for $3 each.

Starbucks other new holiday offerings included a 6-pack of ornately designed color-changing cups ($16.95 for the set), a Glitter Cold Cup Set ($18.95 for all 5), a Bubble Mint Cold Cup ($18.95), a reusable Stripe Straw Pack ($7.95), and a Red Cup Ornament ($7.95).
