If you're having trouble getting a good signal on your cell phone from your living room, you might want to try it out on the moon.

NASA has partnered with Nokia's Bell Labs to bring 4G to the moon in order to provide "more reliable, longer-distance communication than the current radio standards in place on the moon," with the ultimate goal of building a sustainable lunar base by 2028.

Bell Labs says that astronauts will use the new wireless network for "data transmission, controlling of lunar rovers, real-time navigation over lunar geography, and streaming of high-definition video."
