Pinch us, we think we’re dreaming, we must be, because this is too good to be true. Except… we’re not dreaming, and it’s very real and we’re literally screaming.
Remember when Dua Lipa revealed that the "Levitating” remix would feature Madonna and Missy Elliott and the internet collectively lost its mind. Well, Dua wasn’t quite done breaking our brains, and took to Instagram on Tuesday night for another announcement, and this one has left us even furthermore shooketh.
Drum roll please, on August 21, the singer will be dropping Club Future Nostalgia: The Remix Album, which will feature collaborations with the aforementioned superstars as well as Gwen Stefani and Mark Ronson on a remix for “Physical,” and more. The excitement is clearly not just limited to us as the singer announced in all caps, “CLUB FUTURE NOSTALGIA THE REMIX ALBUM W THE BLESSED MADONNA COMING AUGUST 21ST.”
Dua continued, adding in some deets of the album rollout, “LEVITATING AUGUST 14TH - FEATURING MISSY ELLIOTT & MADONNA - PHYSICAL FT. GWEN STEFANI REMIXED BY MARK RONSON +++ ALL FUTURE NOSTALGIA TRACKS N THEN SUM REMIXED BY UR FAVES AND MANY MANY MORE SURPRISES!!! C YA SOON ❤️”
Additionally, some of the noted featured artists replied, sharing their own excitement for the collaborations.
Okay stop, we need a second. The original album was already so amazing, this remixed take can only elevate or “levitate” (see what we did there) it beyond our wildest expectations.
