The pandemic can’t stop Millie Bobby Brown from a teenage rite of passage.
Soon after turning 16 in February, the "Stranger Things" actress went into quarantine like most of the world. Despite having to lock down at home, Brown found a way to make sure she obtained one of the perks of her older age.
“Well, I got my driver’s license in quarantine,” the teenager told W magazine. “It was very strange taking a socially distanced driving test.”
Back in May 2019, Brown shared her excitement after getting her learner’s permit.
"I passed! yay," she captioned a snap sitting behind the wheel of a car. "Watch out cuz MBB is on the road...(with a parent or supervisor over 21 with a valid license lol)."
Besides getting ready for the open road, the Netflix star disclosed how she kept busy during the months-long lockdown.
“My little sister and I painted, did lots of tie-dying, and I think I bejeweled everything in the house. We also watched 'Friends,'” she told the outlet.
“Every night we would watch the news, which was really scary. Of course, that’s the reality of what’s going on, but my little sister, who is 8, would get overwhelmed with fear, so every night I would turn on 'Friends.' And I would get so happy. I love everything about that show.”
Feeling inspired by the classic ‘90s sitcom, Brown channeled her inner Rachel Green for the magazine’s photo shoot.
In the spread, she rocked a 90s-inspired pleated skirt and white turtleneck similar to what Jennifer Aniston’s character wore in the sitcom.
"An icon! Rachel is my favorite. After all, she has a hairstyle named after her," said actress said.
She added: "I dream of people saying, 'I want the Eleven! Or the Enola!' I want my own hairstyle."
Brown next stars as Sherlock Holmes’ younger sister in Netflix’s upcoming film “Enola Holmes.” The movie is set to start streaming on September 30.
