With JP what you see is what you get. He's a hardworking, simple, Midwesterner. His favorite foods are hot dogs and chicken nuggets. JP got his communications degree in the corn fields of S.I.U. Carbondale. While there he also line danced (poorly) at barn parties, saw Carrie Underwood & Lee Greenwood at the Grand Ole Opry, and loved touring Dolly Parton's original pink bus tour bus inside of Dollywood.

JP has been called a bald bearded Buddy the Elf. He's constantly fighting the battle of growing older but not up. He's got energy and enthusiasm for days. He’s also real and honest.

JP is inspired by country star Luke Combs because, "He's the life of the party, but is not afraid to show his soft side and use his big heart.” JP’s passion is using his position for good, to spread joy and positivity ALL OVER the Valley. He’s an avid volunteer, spends his free time doing things like bringing the Glendale police department free lunch for keeping us safe. Or helping organize letters to our Troops!

JP loves spending time with his wife Heidi and two dogs Fitz and Frank the Tank. In his free time you'll see JP around The Valley running Fun Run 5Ks, trying his luck at poker, miniature and real golf, playing sand volleyball, AND MOST OF ALL dominating many games of cornhole at any tailgate.
