Especially when it comes to her fans, Carly Pearce has a heart of gold.

The "Next Girl" singer has been playing some acoustic, socially distant shows in Nashville in support of her recent EP 29.

Danielle Sparkman of Memphis was in attendance at one of those shows, Unfortunately, while driving home that night, Danielle was involved in a very serious car accident, resulting in a broken shoulder, 100 stitches in her arm, lacerations on her face, and a totaled car for Danielle. None of her injuries are expected to leave permanent damage.

Danielle is a college student working her way through school as a waitress, but when she shared her story on Twitter, she never imagined that Carly would find out about the post, much less surprise her on a Zoom call to sing the title track from 29, and donate $1,000 to Danielle's GoFundMe.

Danielle described it as "one of the coolest experiences to come out of one of the worst situations."

"Grateful that someone would care so much as to go out of their way to check up on me, especially on the day before their biggest album release ever," Danielle told Taste of Country. "I think country music is the most inclusive and caring group of people and if this doesn’t show it then I don’t know what does."
