FREEBURG, IL (KMOX)-Freeburg High School will be going all virtual Monday, after a teacher tested positive for the coronavirus.

In a letter posted to Facebook, Superintendent Greg Frerking says the teacher said they had been notified that they had been in direct contact with someone who tested positive for the virus, prior to school reopening. While he says the teacher did not come into close contact with any students, they did come into direct contact with other teachers.

He says because of the number of teachers who must now quarantine, and the lack of substitutes, all classes from Monday, August 17 through Wednesday, August 26 will be conducted online.
