Oakville HS sewing class makes koala mittens, joey pouches to help displaced Australian animals

OAKVILLE (KMOX) -- Sewing students at Oakville High School are joining thousands of people worldwide making things to help homeless animals in Australia.Kangaroos need joey pouches and koalas need mittens to help their burned paws heal. Jamie Daughaday's intermediate and advanced sewing students are spending the week making the pouches.
