RIDGEDALE, Mo (KMOX) - For the first time since 2018 when the 100th PGA Championship was played in St. Louis, the world golf community was focused on something happening in Missouri on Tuesday. It was the Payne's Valley Cup, hosted by Tiger Woods at his newly designed golf course at Big Cedar Lodge in Ridgedale, Mo.

The 19-hole match pitted the Americans, Woods and Justin Thomas, against European-born stars Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose – who are all ranked in the top-23 players in the world. Although the golf was entertaining, as players were relaxed but still competitive in the for-charity event, the views and landscape of southern Missouri was the major theme of the Golf Channel broadcast.
