Free drive-in theater coming to some Walmart locations in Missouri, Illinois

(KMOX) - Several Walmart locations in Missouri and Illinois will host a free drive-in movie night in its parking lots in October. 

The retail giant announced last month it would bring the movies to locations all across the county and now dates and movie titles have been revealed.

To get your free pass, just go to Walmart’s Drive-in website and register for the event starting on Wednesday, August 5 at 5 p.m. Once registered, customers will get a QR code that will grant them entry on the day of the event.

Which movies are shown will vary by location, but options include "The Karate Kid," "Space Jam," "Black Panther," The Goonies," "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" and "Wonder Woman."

Movie concessions will be offered through Walmart’s pickup or delivery services.

A radio is required to be able to listen to the movie. A mask is required if you leave your vehicle.

In addition, Alcohol is prohibited and you must have a car to attend the screening.
