ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — Is the St. Louis housing market in for a slump next year? According to Realtor.com, the answer is yes.
The website lists St. Louis along with cities like Chicago, San Francisco and Miami as cities that will see sales decline and prices shrink. But Coldwell Banker Gundaker President Jim Dohr isn't buying it.
Dohr tells KMOX while home prices in those other markets have spiraled out of control for years, the average price in the city here is still an affordable $184,000.
Dohr says we probably won't see the 6.8 percent increase we saw in the city this year, but we won't see a decline, either.
