The annual Lenten Fish Fry season has begun throughout St. Louis and although churches and restaurants are taking a variety of precautions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there is no shortage of places to get your Fish fix!
Here are parishes offering fish fry meals on some Friday's and local restaurants who have fish deals of their own. We'll be adding to the list below as they come in:
All Saints Catholic Church: St. Peters, MO
Assumption Mattese Parish: :4709 Mattis Rd. in St. Louis
Epiphany of Our Lord: 6596 Smiley Avenue
Eckert's Country Restaurant: Belleville location. Meal for 4 ($38) includes 1 ½ pounds of fried cod, mac ‘n cheese and creamy coleslaw.
High Ridge Elks: In High Ridge MO.
Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church: 1910 Serbian Drive.
Lion's Choice: Many locations. The fan-favorite Crispy Cod Sandwich is back for this Lenten season.
Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church: 3519 North 14th Street in St. Louis.
Nathaniel Reid Bakery: Kirkwood. They have a Tuna Fish Salad Sandwich throughout Lent
Our Lady of Guadalupe: South Florissant Road in Ferguson.
Our Lady of Providence-8874 Pardee Road in Crestwood
Retreat Gastropub: St. Louis City. On Fridays during Lent, the resturant will offer a Smoked Salmon Dip or Smoked Salmon Tartine and entrees like the gluten-free Pacific Cod and Seared Salmon.
Russell’s On Macklind: St. Louis city. On Fridays during Lent, they will offer a Fried Cod and Fish & Chips meal.
Schlafly Beer: Maplewood, St. Louis City & St. Charles. They will offers Fish & Fries, fish sandwiches, fish tacos, salmon salad and other fresh fish options.
St. Mary Magdelan God’s Cod Fish Fry: 8732 Magdalen Avenue in Brentwood
St. Ferdinand Catholic Church: 1765 Charbonier Road in Florissant
St. Francis of Assisi: 4556 Telegraph Road in Oakville
St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish: 6303 Nottingham in St. Louis
Yellowbelly: St. Louis City. The restaurant will offer a Friday special of Lobster Taquitos.
