Indoor dining ban will stand: Judge denies lawsuit filed against St. Louis County

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The ban on indoor dining at restaurants and bars in St. Louis County has been upheld in court.

A judge this afternoon denied the request by the Missouri Restaurant Association and more than three dozen restaurants, for a temporary restraining order against County Executive Sam Page's ban on indoor dining.

Page issued the ban last week, as part of his effort to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

Earlier this week, nearly 100 people were outside Page's office in St. Louis County governmental building to protest his latest coronavirus restrictions. Restaurant and bar owners, waiters, bartenders, other staff and supporters joined in the protest.
