The federal Centers for Disease Control says Kansas ranks among the states when it comes to COVID-19 vaccinations. But governor Kelly says it's really a recording problem ... that people are actually getting the shots. Sedgwick County Commission Chair Pete Meitzner tells KNSS News at the county level, every vaccine is "getting in people's arms". He says Wichita hospitals have vaccinated more than 6,000 people.
Meitzner says the county's been receiving a lot of questions about the COVID-19 vaccinations. Meitzner says health officials will host a Zoom informational meeting on Facebook Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 6:30 p-m. To submit a question or for more information, go to email@example.com.
Meitzner commented during the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show on KNSS.
