At Wednesday's meeting, the Sedgwick County Commission will look at spending CARES money from the federal government, to deal with effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Commission Chair Pete Meitzner tells KNSS News there is 77 million dollars left in the 99 million-dollar fund. He says the county's finance committee will present a plan for more dispersement. Meitzner says the county must spend the money by year's end. Meitzner commented during the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show on KNSS.
