Sedgwick County has federal dollars to aid pandemic victims

Sedgwick County has 99 million dollars in federal CARES money to help with the impact of the pandemic. County Commission Chair Pete Meitzner tells KNSS News local governments and organizations can apply for some of that money at the county's web site.

Sedgwick County is drafting its next budget. Pete Meitzner says the pandemic will have an impact on revenue, especially sales tax collection. But he's not sure how big the "hit" will be
