Over the weekend, the percentage of positive COVID tests topped 15 percent of those tested in Sedgwick County. Wichita Mayor Brandon Whipple tells KNSS News "we have uncontrolled spread at this point". He says we're seeing more people go inside, and more and people letting their guards down with social gatherings. Whipple says it's never been more important than right now to protect our families from COVID.

Whipple also says there is a need for quicker results from testing, so people could determine if family gatherings such as Thanksgiving are safe.

Whipple commented during Mondays with the Mayor ... on the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show on KNSS.
