2 More Whole Foods Employees in Pasadena Store Test Positive for COVID-19

Two employees at the Whole Foods store in Pasadena have tested positive for COVID-19, according to a report. 

Management at the store confirmed that on May 15 an employee had died of coronavirus, after testing positive earlier in the month. 

The Pasadena Star-News reported Wednesday that two more workers at the store located at 3751 E. Foothill Blvd tested positive the virus. 

As of Wednesday, there were 883 confirmed coronavirus cases in Pasadena and 82 deaths.

Whole Foods has installed plexiglass partitions at the checkout stands and requires all employees to wear masks while working. The Amazon-owned company has increased employees' hourly wage by $2 for hazard pay.
