77 LAPD Employees Have Tested Positive for Coronavirus, 33 Are Back on Duty

Officials stated over the weekend that 77 Los Angeles Police Department employees have now tested positive for the coronavirus. 

Of the 77 cases, 33 of them have made a full recovery and returned to work. One of the individuals is hospitalized while all others are self-isolating at home and recovering, NBC Los Angeles reports

Meanwhile, 20 Los Angeles Fire Department employees total have tested positive for coronavirus over the last few weeks. That number has remained unchanged for over week. 14 of those 20 people have fully recovered and returned to work. None of them are hospitalized. 

The other 6 LAFD coronavirus victims are making recoveries at home.
