Hundreds of American diplomats and their family members are expected to land in Southern California on Wednesday -- after being evacuated out of the city of Wuhan in China -- the epicenter of the deadly coronavirus outbreak.

The passengers will be stopping in Anchorage, Alaska first, where they'll receive a health screening before continuing onto California.
