The massive Simi Valley "Easy Fire" is currently raging at 1,723 acres.

All evacuation orders have been lifted for people forced out of their homes by the Easy Fire.

As of Thursday morning, two homes have been destroyed or damaged, and three firefighters were hurt. Firefighters expect strong winds today. Some of the 30,000 evacuees are being allowed to return home. The fire is at 10 percent containment Thursday morning.

As of Wednesday afternoon, weather conditions have improved, enabling air tankers to deploy and drop fire retardant. While crews battle on the ground, they're given a lot of support from the air. The fire has now jumped the 23 Fwy at Tierra Rejada

Police have been telling people to evacuate the Moorpark community west of the 23 and north of Tierra Rejada Rd off Miller Parkway.

The fire remains at 0 percent contained and is threatening 6,500 structures.

The new northern boundary is the 118-freeway. To the west, the boundary is still the 23 freeway.

To the south, Olsen Road, which becomes Madera Road, and to the east, Madera Road.

Areas around the Reagan Library are under mandatory evacuations. Homes are being threatened.
