Free Temporary Grocery Delivery Program Set Up for Seniors by LA County

There's a free temporary grocery delivery service set up by LA County that's aimed at helping seniors and those with disabilities.

The program, called Critical Delivery Service, will be delivering groceries, vital items and household items to those who are age 60 or older, individuals with permanent or temporary disabilities and dependent adults age 18 to 59 years of age.

Per month, individuals can receive up to four deliveries or 40 miles worth of deliveries. The items must be pre-paid.

They can call 888-863-7411 to request a delivery service. To schedule a delivery, call the number Monday through Friday  8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Once items are ready for pick-up call the phone number above.

Deliveries can be made 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A taxi driver will deliver the services to those in need.
