Joshua Tree National Park Reopens With Some Services, Access - What You Can and Can't Do


 Joshua Tree National Park reopens to the public with restrictions and access since being shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  

There are restrictions and closures within the park, however.

According to the Joshua Tree National Park website, Joshua Tree National Park is modifying operations to support federal, state, and local efforts to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). We are working to increase access to the park in a phased approach."

All permits for special use activities through May 31, 2020

What is open?

Park entrances. Entrance stations will be staffed regularly but will not be collecting fees.
