Police continue to investigate the tragic loss of the lives of two children.

An 8-year-old boy and his 4-year-old sister were both found by their mother, hanging in the basement of their home.

Recordings of a 911 call to dispatchers from the mother were released to channel Fox 29 news. The dispatcher can be heard telling police that Lisa Synder, 36, of Albany Township, called in to say she'd found the bodies of her two children. She explained that her son had been bullied and had "made threats of doing this, but did not want to go alone and he may be the aggressor."

Brinley, 4 and Connor, 8 were found hanging 3-feet apart by a single wire with a plastic coating.

The Berks County District Attorney has not commented on this ongoing investigation.

"Connor was a beloved member of the Greenwich Elementary School Community, who enjoyed his peers and teachers. He’s dearly missed, fondly remembered for the smile that he brought on his face and he brought to the people he encountered every day," Superintendent of Schools Christian Tempchatin told Fox 29.
