Producer David Guillod Surrenders to Santa Barbara Sheriff's Authorities, Charged with Sexual Assault

A high-profile Hollywood producer is facing serious sex assault charges. Producer David Guillod surrendered to Santa Barbara authorities Monday after being charged with rape or sexual assault of three women.
He surrendered to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's investigators on Monday with his lawyer by his side, according to a story from the LA Times.

"For the past eight years, Mr. Guillod has denied these allegations, and for the past eight years, Mr. Guillod has fully cooperated with all aspects of law enforcement’s investigation. We find the unification of the cases filed through the Santa Barbara D.A.’s office and the timing suspicious,” Cohen said in a statement to the LA Times.

Guillod is the producer for films like "Atomic Blonde" and "Extraction." He is facing 11 felony charges including rape, kidnap to commit rape and rape of a drugged victim between May 2012 and January 2015.
Guillod is also under an investigation by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office after an actress named Jessica Barth accused him of drugging and assaulting her in 2012. She had previously dropped pursuing the case with authorities.
KNX has reached out to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office, but we have not received a response.
