Marc Lotter serves as the Director of Strategic Communications for the re-election campaign of President Donald J. Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.

He previously served as Special Assistant to the President and Press Secretary to the Vice President. He can often be seen as a guest on Fox News Channel, MSNBC, CNN, and the major television networks.

Lotter sat down with In-Depth host Charles Feldman to talk about Trump's impeachment by the House of Representatives, bipartisanship, Ukraine, the media, and what he says will be a 'very ugly' 2020 election year.

On Trump's impeachment, Lotter says he's concerned because, "it's the first time that's solely been done by one party," adding that it's a "one-party affair."

When asked about his background as a member of the media, Trotter said it bothers him that him when the media "ignore facts," "twisting content," or "leaving information out," to "fulfill a narrative that they believe."

Lastly, Feldman asked Topper about next year's presidential election. Topper admitted it will likely get ugly, but added that the Trump campaign is a well-oiled machine.
