Nail salons are allowed to let customers back inside effective today, Thursday, in LA County.
The reopening of nail salons and indoor shopping malls will be staggered over the next week and a half in LA County.
They will be limited to 25 percent occupancy.
Indoor shopping malls will open Wednesday and card clubs will start outdoor operations on Monday.
Earlier this week, the state allowed for the reopening of outdoor playgrounds but the final decision is for the county to decide. LA County officials also allowed breweries and wineries to reopen for outdoor service in a week.
Earlier this month, California gave the OK for nail salons to reopen. At that time, LA County public health officials told KNX 1070 News they need to consult with the Board of Supervisors to figure out the timing to change the county health order to allow nail salons to resume indoor services with modifications.
Nail salons were ordered to close earlier in the summer in July.
