There will be football starting Nov. 6th in the Pac-12.
That's from officials late Thursday afternoon meaning it's music to the ears of USC and UCLA fans.
“The Conference will resume its football, basketball and winter sport seasons. The football season may now commence for those teams that have the necessary state and local health approvals on November 6, men’s and women’s basketball on November 25 consistent with the NCAA’s official start date for these sports, and other winter sports consistent with the NCAA season dates for those sports,” according to the Pac-12 press release.
But all of a sudden, that may be changing, and Pac-12 leaders will be meeting today to vote on launching a fall season after all.
According to the Los Angeles Times, all of the UCLA Bruins had no doubt they'd playing this year's season.
“Our guidelines for practice were developed ... to minimize the potential for physical contact. …
“The 6-12 person cohorts allow for a range of collegiate sports teams to both condition and practice," a UCLA spokesperson told the Times.
