Pasadena opts to keep outdoor dining, after LA County ban announced

Despite the fact that COVID-19 cases are soaring and restaurants in LA County have been ordered to halt outdoor dining starting late tomorrow night, Pasadena city officials have decided to allow outdoor dining to continue -- until they can do their own assessment

"It’s nice knowing we can still serve tonight definitely," Jojo Anaya Sandoval, the manager at Anaya restaurant on Colorado Boulevard tells NBC4.

At a virtual city council meeting Monday, council members heard from restaurant owners and since Pasadena has its own health department they have the option to consider mandates separate from LA County.
