Trump releases footage of heated '60 Minutes' interview prior to broadcast

In a heated interview with Lesley Stahl on “60 Minutes,” scheduled to air on Sunday night, President Trump claimed bias and reportedly walked out of the room. In an unprecedented move, Tuesday, the president released nearly 38 minutes of the interview on social media -- days before its official broadcast.

“Look at the bias, hatred and rudeness on behalf of “60 Minutes” and CBS. Tonight’s anchor, Kristen Welker, is far worse! #MAGA,” Trump wrote on Twitter, linking to a Facebook video.

Stahl started the interview at the White House asking Trump about his goals for domestic policy, pivoted to COVID-19 and finally asked him opinion on America’s greatest adversary.

Trump has complained about the “60 Minutes” interview throughout the week, even chiding Stahl about not wearing a mask.
