BREAKING: Senate GOP seeking to subpoena Twitter CEO over blocked Biden stories

Missouri Republican Senator Josh Hawley has formally requested that Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg appear before the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Terrorism.

Hawley wants the two tech leaders to take part in an upcoming hearing about "Digital Platforms and Election Interference.”

Twitter has come under fire after the company blocked a New York Post article about Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden from being shared on the platform.

The Post article suggests that Biden met with a representative of Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings in 2015.
