NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden will face off on the coronavirus, race in America and more in next week's final presidential debate.
The Commission on Presidential Debates on Friday announced the six topics moderator Kristen Welker has chosen for the debate, which will be held on Thursday, Oct. 22 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.
The topics are:
Race in America
The topics are subject to possible changes because of news developments, the commission said.
The debate will start at 9 p.m. ET and run for 90 minutes, without commercial interruption.
This is the second and last time Trump and Biden will debate the issues face-to-face before voters take to the polls on Election Day.
Three presidential debates had initially been scheduled, but the town hall-style event originally planned for Oct. 15 was scrapped after Trump refused to participate in a proposed virtual debate following his coronavirus diagnosis.
