Sofia Vergara has found her new family.

The “Modern Family” actress is set to fill one of the vacant judge’s chairs on the NBC reality competition series, “America’s Got Talent.”

“I’m so happy to join my new family on AGT,” Vergara said, according to Deadline.

Speculation that the actress was joining the series began back in December of 2014, but now, she confirmed that she will be making history in her “new and exciting next chapter.”

“I’m extremely proud to be the first Latin judge on the show. I can’t wait to watch all the talent and have fun with all you guys,” she revealed.

“Sofia’s infectious energy and sharp wit will blend perfectly with returning favorites Heidi, Simon, Howie, and Terry. As both a respected actress and successful entrepreneur, she embodies the American dream that is synonymous with AGT’s transformative stage,” said Meredith Ahr, President, Alternative & Reality Group, NBC Entertainment.

Vergara is being joined by Klum, an “AGT” alum, who is making a comeback and reclaiming her throne. She previously sat on the judge’s panel for six seasons from 2013-2018.

Klum remained part of the "AGT" universe during her exit while serving as a judge on the spinoff series, “America’s Got Talent: The Champions.”

The ladies will succeed Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough, who were not asked back to the panel after a one-season run.

Following the exit, Union’s comments about the “hostile work environment” and alleged racial insensitivity on set triggered an investigation, which was set to conclude in January. No findings were made public.

Vergara and Klum join longtime judges Simon Cowell, who also serves as “AGT’s” creator and executive producer, and Howie Madel.

Terry Crews is also set to return as host.

“I’m so excited to be back at AGT with Simon, Howie and Terry. The fact that Sofia Vergara is joining us is the icing on an already delicious cake,” Klum said.

Vergara’s move comes as she wraps up her 11-season run as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on “Modern Family.”

The cast shared emotional goodbyes from their final day of filming on Friday, February 20.

The series finale will air April 8, 2020.
