DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Several streets in downtown Dallas around the Earle Cabell Federal Building were shut down early Monday due to a suspicious vehicle

Dallas Police were called to the location due to a suspicious vehicle, an 18-wheeler, in the 1100 block of Commerce Street early Monday morning.

ATF officials called in an explosive detection canine to the scene to check out the truck and it's content.

The 'all clear' notice was given by Dallas Police shortly after 9:00 a.m. once the vehicle was searched and declared safe.

During the investigation, the Federal Protective Service evacuated a 3-block area around the unattended vehicle as a precaution.
