FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - Fort Worth's Betsy Price made history last night.

Price's victory last night for a fifth term as Fort Worth mayor will make her the longest serving mayor in city history when she takes the oath of office later this month.

Price beat Tarrant County Democrat Party Chair Deborah Peoples 56 to 42 percent of the vote.

Price said she wants Fort Worth to keep focusing on issues it has in the last few years.

All of the Fort Worth City Council incumbents also won re-election. The incumbents won re-election to the Tarrant Regional Water Board, as well. Marty Leonard and Jim Lane easily kept their seats over three challengers.
