ARLINGTON (1080 KRLD) - First, it was food-to-go from restaurants forced to close their dining rooms because of Coronaviurs fears. Then, it was groceries-for-pick-up at your favorite supermarket. Next, it was retail-to-go for department stores and other shops. Now? It's books-to-go from the Arlington public libraries.
Curbside pickup are now available at all library locations from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Arlington Director of Libraries Norma Zuniga says items are available at all locations through touchless transactions.
Furthermore, after being returned, all library items will go through a 72-hour quarantine process before being checked out again.
