DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - A week after Dallas County voters cast their ballots, a lot of them have apparently not been counted. Now, the courts will have to intervene.

Reports say 44 of Dallas county's voting machines were never included in the final count.

Elections administrator Toni Pippins-Poole has filed a court petition to re-open the central counting station for a re-count and re-tabluation of last week's Texas primary votes.

While it's known those 44 machines were never tabulated, it's completely unclear how many uncounted ballots that actually means.
